Claire M. Dawson is an associate with Cantafio Hammond with extensive experience in the practice of criminal defense as well as domestic relations, and has practiced at the appellate level. Ms. Dawson is a current member of the Colorado Bar Association and has acted as an Alternate Defense Counsel contractor. She is an experienced trial attorney with an excellent litigation track record. Her skills include extensive motions practice and trial advocacy.  An example of her successful motions practice includes a complete dismissal of a high-profile hate crime, based on her discovery of falsified information in arrest affidavits.

Ms. Dawson's practice focuses primarily on criminal defense. She has defended clients with all manner of criminal charges, from traffic matters to murder cases and everything in between. Deeply dedicated to her clients, she believes that all persons charged with a crime deserve an excellent and thorough advocate.
